Benjamin J. Oliphant, age 20 of Ransomville died unexpectedly on Saturday October 16, 2010 in Niagara Falls, NY.
Ben was born December 31, 1989 in Lewiston, NY, the son of Robert Oliphant of Ransomville and Maribeth (Drendall) Oliphant of Sanborn. He graduated in 2008 from Niagara Academy in Sanborn. Ben had been employed for a time by Smokin Joe's. He loved music and his life's ambition was to become a professional DJ.
He is survived by his father, Robert Oliphant (Kathleen Robinson) of Ransomville; his mother, Maribeth (Drendall) Oliphant (Doug Lorenze) of Sanborn; two brothers, Thomas and Charles Oliphant both of Sanborn; his step sisters, Kyle Robinson and Rochelle Frerichs; his
paternal grandparents, Charles and Betsy Oliphant of Ransomville; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Friday, October 22, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 8:30 PM. A Memorial Service will begin at 8:30 PM in funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Academy, 3181 Saunder Settlement Rd., Sanborn, NY 14132.
