Margaret M. “Peggy” Johnston (nee Murr), age 80 , of Ransomville, NY entered into rest on Friday August 13, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Richmond, VA. Peggy was born on December 11, 1940, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late James H. and the late Jessica Louise (Premus) Murr. She graduated from Lew-Port H.S class of 1958. She married Ronald C. Johnston on February 16, 1963, he predeceased her on December 24, 2019. Peggy was a Licensed real estate broker for over 20 years working for HUNT Real Estate and prior at Coldwell Banker. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church at North Ridge, a former member of the Ransomville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary; a member of the Greater Buffalo Assoc. of Realtors and the Niagara Falls Board of Realtors. Surviving are her children, Janet Meyer , Roger (Kelly) Johnston, Dale (Rose) Johnston and Hannah (Michael) Bell; her sister Prudence (Larry “Skip”) Waters; her grandchildren Matthew, Nathan, Timothy and Margaret Meyer, Sam, Jarret, Katlin and Julia Johnston and Brian, Peter, Joseph, and Adam Bell; a niece Hilary (Dan) Stec and nephew Andrew (Dottie) Waters. She is predeceased by a nephew David Waters. Family and friends may call on SATURDAY August 21st, 2021, from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Rd., Lockport, NY. Funeral service will immediately follow in the church at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery Town of Cambria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Rd., Lockport, NY 14094 or HART Inc. 505 Cayuga St. Lewiston, NY 14092.
