Obituary of David K. Moyer

David Kent Moyer, 68, a lifelong resident of Wilson NY, passed away on July 31, 2021 after a brief illness. Born March 17, 1953 he was the son of the late Bud & Marge Moyer. Dave is survived by wife Anne; daughter Emily (CJ); granddaughter Rosalie; his sister’s children Bill Faery, Maggie Mahar and Ben Faery; many nieces, nephews, in-laws and his brother Mike (Lori) Moyer. Dave is predeceased by his parents and sister Susan Faery-Apolito. Dave was a 1971 graduate of Wilson High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from SUNY at Fredonia, eventually becoming a self-employed business owner. A kind, gentle soul, Dave loved his family and friends and made it a point to visit with them. Dave relished political discussions, live music, collecting antiques and a good boat or car ride. Dave’s good nature will be missed by those that knew him. Visitation Thursday August 5th 4-8 at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc. 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville.
