David K. Moyer

David Kent Moyer, 68, a lifelong resident of Wilson NY, passed away on July 31, 2021 after a brief illness. Born March 17, 1953 he was the son of the late Bud & Marge Moyer. Dave is survived by wife Anne; daughter Emily (CJ); granddaughter Rosalie; his sister’s children Bill Faery, Maggie Mahar and Ben Faery; many nieces, nephews, in-laws and his brother Mike (Lori) Moyer. Dave is predeceased by his parents and sister Susan Faery-Apolito. Dave was a 1971 graduate of Wilson High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from SUNY at Fredonia, eventually becoming a self-employed business owner. A kind, gentle soul, Dave loved his family and friends and made it a point to visit with them. Dave relished political discussions, live music, collecting antiques and a good boat or car ride. Dave’s good nature will be missed by those that knew him. Visitation Thursday August 5th 4-8 at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc. 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, August 6th at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice (www.niagarahospice.org).
