Peter James Foster, retired veteran, and airline pilot took his last flight from his residence in St. Cloud Florida on October 07, 2020. Born on July 7, 1938, to the late James E. and Dorothea Lillian Hannel Foster, grandson of Roy P and Ruth C. Foster and Charles C. and Lillian. Hannel.
Peter was a Life Scout BSA Troop 29 of Youngstown, NY, a senior Deacon, DeMolay in Ransomville, NY. He was a graduate of Lewiston-Porter class of 1955, graduate of Buffalo State Teachers College class of 1961 and graduate of University of Buffalo class of 1967. He was a resident of Niagara County, Osceola County, FL and many others.
Mr. Foster enlisted in the U.S Navy and retired from the U.S Army. He was a 54 plus year life member of the America Legion Post # 381 in Niagara Falls, NY. His civilian employments include Old Fort Niagara, Philmount Boy Scout Ranch, International Paper Co., Niagara Co. Community College, a former teacher at Starpoint and Niagara Wheatfield CSDs, a pilot with Niagara Helicopters Ltd. Kent Helicopters, Prior Aviation and Heussler Helicopters, also Mohawk, Alleghany, and U.S Airlines with he retired from.
Peter is survived by his wife Judy (Gail) Foster of FL, daughter Linda Ann (Christopher) Beach, Stepdaughters Cindy Guffy and Peggy Coker, brothers J. Keith (Becky) of WV and William C. (Julia) of FL.
