Obituary of Eric Robert Kuriscak

Eric Robert Kuriscak, age 72, of Wheatfield entered into rest on Saturday June 26, 2021 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Eric was on born August 26, 1948, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late John and the late Mary (Kemak) Kuriscak. He graduated from Trott Vocational High School in Niagara Falls and worked as a machine repairman at the GM Chevrolet Engine Plant in Tonawanda for 30 years, retiring in 2001. He was a gentle giant who enjoyed meals and conversation with family and friends; science fiction; and astronomy, even building his own telescope. His eye for detail went from heavy machinery to computers and photography, and as his physical mobility became more limited, through his camera lens and printers he continued to find joy in the beauty of nature and in gifting his pictures to others. Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, John, and Patty Kuriscak; 2 nieces, Lisa Kuriscak and Jeanette Pumphrey; 2 nephews, Kenneth (Michelle) Kuriscak and Scott (Cindy) Kuriscak. He is predeceased by 2 siblings, Jeannette Mittenmaier and Steve Kuriscak. Family and friends may call on WEDNESDAY from 5-8 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 401 Ridge St. Lewiston ,NY (N.
