Matthew T. Maines, age 32, of Ransomville entered into rest suddenly following a motor vehicle accident on Friday, June 18, 2021, in the Town of Lewiston. Matthew was born on February 23, 1989, in Lewiston, NY, he is the son of Robert and Kerrie (Webster) Maines of Ransomville. Matthew was 2007 graduate of Lew-Port Central School. He was currently employed as a laborer with J.D Paving and Sealing in Buffalo, NY. Matt was a certified welder for many years, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking in the gorge and at Artpark. He was a very caring and compassionate person who loved being around his friends, family and children and helping anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his father Robert and mother Kerrie (Webster) Maines; his sister, Mariah Maines ( Fiancée Joe Melcher); several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on THURSDAY June 24th from 2-6 PM. at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville, NY 14131.
