Obituary of Edward E. Harvey

Edward E. Harvey 70, of Wilson, husband of Jan (Bailey) Harvey entered into rest on Friday June 4, 2021, at Niagara Hospice House. He was born on March 6, 1951, to the late Paul E. Harvey and late Shirley Ann (Connor) Harvey in Niagara Falls, NY. Harvey graduated from LaSalle H.S class of 1969. He married Janis Bailey on September 1, 1979, at the Wintergarden in Niagara Falls. Harvey worked for DuPont in Niagara Falls as a chlorine pump operator for 28 years retiring in 2011. Harvey loved the game of golf and had many great rounds with his golfing buddies. He was an avid sports fan who could repeat stats like no other, especially his beloved N.Y Yankees and Tennessee Titans. He and Jan co-hosted the best Superbowl parties around, they like to play cards and board games, he even beat Jan on occasion. He and Jan loved to travel, especially south to Florida and Southwest to Bisbee, AZ, many happy times were shared with friends and family camping in state parks, Fergus, Ontario, Sunset Island and Swan’s Landing. Harvey enjoyed a glass or two of fine red wine and hosted “Happy Hour” for the past few years. He also loved sunset cruises on his friends’ sailboat. Harvey was especially proud of all of his girls, grandchildren, and great granddaughter, he and his laughter will be greatly missed by those who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Jan; his daughters Nadine (Jon) Williams, Ingrad Osier, Renee (Sean) Roberts and Donna (Max) Summer; his brother Timothy (Nancy) Harvey; his grandchildren, Janelle Chaffin, Hunter Williams, Alastair Williams, Maren Williams, and Riley and Kai Osier; his great granddaughter Ellie Warren ; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his brother Kevin (late Kimberly) Harvey. Friends and family may call on THURSDAY from 4-7 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville, NY 14131.
