Nancy L. Shippy, age 80, of Youngstown entered into rest on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Our Lady of Peace in Lewiston, NY. Nancy was born on February 24, 1941 in Bellefonte, PA. She is the daughter of the late Terrell and the late Dorothy (Saylor) Lucas. Nancy graduated from Lew-Port class of 1959. She married Harold H. Shippy on April 23, 1960 they have been married for 61 years. Nancy was employed by B-Kwik Market as a clerk for many years and enjoyed bowling and being with her family. She is survived by her husband: Harold H. Shippy; her children, Jillyan (Jack) Degan of Buffalo, NY , Peter (Charlotte) Shippy of Boston, MA and Timothy Shippy of Youngstown, NY; her sisters, Becky, Judy, and Sue; sister-in-law, Nadine Lucas; brother-In-Law, Dan (Myong) Shippy; four grandchildren, Seamus and Bridget Degan, Beatrix and Stella Shippy and several nieces and nephews. Nancy is predeceased by her brothers Richard and Peter Lucas and sister Joyce Lucas Penders. Services will be privately held at Oakland Rural Cemetery, Town of Porter, NY. Memorials may be made to Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co., PO Box 387, Youngstown, NY 14174. Arrangements entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC.
