Jim was, and always will be in our hearts, an amazing man. He was kind, patient, and loving to so many. Our family will be forever grateful to have known him and loved him. He will be greatly missed, but will remember the time we spent with him fondly. Thank you for your love and kindness Jim, may you have eternal peace, love, and happiness.
Love always,
Nicole (Ken) Mitchell - and children

Jim,
I am so grateful for the brief amount of time that we were able to have you in our lives. From the first time that you came to visit, you fit in so well with our family. Our children all miss "Grampa Jim" so much already. Your kindness, laughter, generosity and thoughtfulness will continue to have a positive effect on us. Thanks for being you.

Oh Jim, we were not ready for you to come into our lives and now we were definitely not ready for you to leave. You were kind, funny and very witty. You never let my husband live anything down and you throw jokes right back at him. Though we only knew you a few years you became family. We will treasure the memories of you always.

We are going to miss going out to eat every Friday with him & Kathy, we always enjoyed their company. We have lost a great man. We know he made Kathy's life more enjoyable & that she had found her true love. We are so very sorry for your loss. Praying that the Dear Lord will wrap his loving arms around you all& comfort you all during this time of loss.

I will miss my "DAD" & DEAR FRIEND terribly. He was an AMAZING confidant. He gave me the BEST ADVICE EVER & by listening & applying that advice I was a better person. He was funny, kind, helpful, thoughtful & generous. I am SOOO HAPPY he is with mom & Scotty!!!! I'll look for the three Butterflies. In my HEART FOREVER. ~The Brat~ "Di"
