I worked with Chuck at carborundum in the research and development division for a number of years in 1965 to 1974 as a secretary. He was a happy go lucky guy. Sad to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathies to the family.

To The Boos Family: I'm so very sorry for your loss. Tim, I don't know if you remember me, I used to work @Frontier Lanes. I bowled twice a week, worked weekends teaching Junior Bowling, & Waitress. That's how I met you, your brother Jim & your Dad. I think I went to watch you all race once, & I remember when I had my old Buick, I needed parts & you told me to come to the scrap yard & you & your Dad would help me out. I am again so sorry for the loss of your brother Jim. I'll always remember how kind your Dad was to me that day. My condolences to you & your Family Tim. God Bless.

Our deepest condolences. We will all miss Chuck's friendly smile. Such a nice man, great memories of how kind he was to children, supplying quarters for them to use in the old stuffed animal machine at Frontier Lanes in Lewiston.
In sympathy,
Brian & Kathleen Harold

A really great man. He was a favorite of many at the race tracks including me. He left all of us in the racing world with a treasury of magnificent memories.

I remember Chuck fondly from racing. He encouraged me to race with the women (Powder Puff) in Ransomville and I loved it. He was funny, serious, smart and knew all about racing. I watched him race in New York and Canada.I send my condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P. Chuck June Lane

A five-time track champion. Loved by thousands of fans in the U.S. and Canada. Respected by all of his fellow competitors. You can't ask for more than that in motorsports. He was my hero. My heartfelt condolences to the entire Boos family.

Chuck Boos was the smartest man I ever met; nothing mechanical was beyond his grasp. And he had great stock tips as well.. I was always happy when he would stop in at my law office in Lewiston with some local news...or funny stories from the past, (the antics of Andy Hailey were some of the best.) RIP Chuck Boos.
