Obituary of Robert C. Jakubec

Robert C. "Fester" Jakubec, age 67 of Wilson, died Monday April 26, 2021 while under the loving care of his family and Niagara Hospice in the Niagara Hospice House in Lockport. Bob was born September 24, 1953 in Union City, PA, the son of the late John and Loucille (Kinney) Jakubec. He lived most all of his life in Ransomville and Wilson and was a 1971 graduate of Wilson High School. Bob owned and operated a professional Cleaning Service in Wilson for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, boating, and camping. Bob will be remembered as a loving father, and a kind hearted friend who loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Robert "R.J." (Tiffany) Jakubec, II, Jason Jakubec, and Courtney Jakubec, seven sisters, Linda Wagner, Lou Imhoff, Marilyn Beck, Bonnie (Sam) Vinju, Carolyn Hess, Gail Czach, and Dorothy (Craig) Lynch; two brothers, Gary Jakubec and Lenny (Shelley) Jakubec; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and William "Willie" (Juanita "Bonnie")Jakubec; and a sister, Deborah Jakubec. Also survived by his dear friend Nancy Smith.
