Cliff and family. I'm sorry to hear about Walt's passing. I believe we used to call him Sonny. Had a nice chat with him about ten years ago in Lewiston. I remember he was always a very nice guy. My condolences.

Walt was a wonderful man. We shopped at Federal and then at Walts World of Meat. Stopped occasionally in Lewiston but not in a long time. Was there today & as we passed the store wondered if Walt still was there. Then saw his obit. We are so sorry for you loss! Dick and Judy Houseman. From Tonawanda

Worked for Walt when I got out of the Navy in 72. The store was always busy and Walt had terrific rapport with his customers. He smiled easily and laughed often. My 3 brothers and I worked for him and always think of those days fondly.
RIP, Walt.... Jimlowes

To Walt's dear wife Judy, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. We came to know Walt through doing business at the Natural Link and always enjoyed talking with him during our visits to the store. We so appreciated that he knew each of our names and never failed to ask about our children whenever he saw us. And, of course, we can't forget to mention that great smile and sense of humor that Walt displayed during each store visit. I was privileged to see Walt about a year ago and he was quick to ask about our family. He was just a really great guy and will be missed!
Sincerely,
Lynn and Jim Maloni and children

Judy, Tara and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Walt. To this day I haven’t eaten a piece of chicken that didn’t come from The Natural Link. He would deliver food to me from the shop when my husband was ill. He’d stop while walking his new German Shepard. His sense of humor was fantastic. He will be greatly missed.
