Claude A. Moore, age 91, of Ransomville entered into rest on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his home in Ransomville. Claude was born on November 11, 1929 in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Robert and the late Helen (Mays) Moore. He married Dorothy L. Suitor on November 21, 1953, she predeceased him on December 07, 2006.
Claude served in the U.S Army from 1951 to 1953 where he received the Army of Occupation metal for service in Germany. He was retired from Allied Chemical, spending 36 years as a welder until 1980. Claude was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
Surviving is his children Karlene (Fred) Schmid of Grand Rapids, MI, Kerry (Lynn) Moore of FL, Dawn (Mark) Packer of Ransomville, NY, and Shannon (Jerry) Davis of N. Chili, NY; 2 granddaughters, Kristina Packer and Rachel Davis; faithful dog “Maggie” and Special friends and neighbors Larry (Pam) Kunselman and Gerald (Janelle) Hanson. Claude is predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be privately held. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may be made to Ransomville Vol. Fire Co.
