my memories of Aunt Gene go back to 1950 when I was 7 and the sweetest, kindest soul entered my life through marriage to my Uncle Ed. Her kindness and good heart are qualities i try to emulate. All the memories flowing through my brain are of good food, laughter and words of encouragement. From when I first saw her as a young woman weaning a green dress that seemed to change colors as she turned til the last time about 18 months back she was always young at heart and thinking of others before herself. .
