John L. Nowicki, age 54, of Lewiston died on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital. John was born on October 11,1966 in Lewiston, NY. He is the son of the late Leonard and the late Dorothy (Czajkowski) Nowicki. John was a 1984 graduate of Wilson High School. He was employed at IMA Life North America Inc. in Tonawanda as a Mechanical Technician/Materials Specialist. John was an avid outdoorsman - a fisherman, and self-taught hunter and trapper. John was a member of the Wilson Conservation Club. He is survived by one daughter: Julia Nowicki; his siblings Ruth (Michael) Flaherty of Farmington, NY, Peter (Denine) Nowicki of Conesus, NY and Shirley Nowicki of Wilson, NY; his former wife, Susan Carter and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 26 from 4-7 PM at Hardison Funeral Home, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston, NY. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 27 at St. Brendan on the Lake RC Church, 359 Lake St., Wilson, NY with Rev. Andrew Lauricella officiating. Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wilson Conservation Club 2934 Wilson Cambria Rd. Wilson, NY 14172.
