Obituary of Nancy O. Jacobs

Nancy O. Jacobs, age 84, of Newfane, wife of the late Robert G. Jacobs Sr. entered into rest on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Nancy was born on February 12, 1937 in Lockport, NY. She is the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Blanche (Smith) Owens. She married Robert G. Jacobs Sr. on June 23, 1956, he predeceased her on September 20, 2001. Nancy was a 1955 graduate of Lockport High School She was employed by Niagara County Social Services as a Case Worker for 12 years retiring in 2002. Nancy was a member of the Newfane Golden Agers, the Newfane UMC, she enjoyed dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Richard) Colaizzi of Lockport, NY, Michael Jacobs of Newfane, NY, and Jeanne (David) St. Onge of Ransomville, NY; a daughter in law, Georgia Welch; her Siblings, Richard Owens of Taylorsville, TN and Judith Dold of Newfane, NY; her grandchildren, Camille Jacobs, Adam (Kelsey) Jacobs, Madison (Tyler) Stephenson and Amanda Jacobs; her great grandchildren, Kendall, Kenneth, Brayden, Emily, Dixie, and Matthew. Nancy is predeceased by her companion of 6 years Earl Stott, her son Robert G. Jacobs Jr. and her brother Charles Owens. Public calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd from 4-7 PM at Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 24th in the funeral home with Rev. Marilyn Kasperek officiating. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery following.
