Obituary of Leona W. Wilkins

Leona W. Wilkins, age 101, of Lancaster and formerly of Town of Cambria entered into rest on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Greenfields Nursing and Rehab in Lancaster, NY. Leona was born on April 19, 1919 in Town of Cambria, NY, she is the daughter of the late Albert and the late Mary (Hillman) Donner. She married Harold E. Wilkins on September 21, 1940 he predeceased her on January 10, 2012. Leona was a homemaker her entire life, she was a life member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge, member of friendship club, the Women’s Missionary League. She taught Sunday school and worked for Neisner and K-Mart in the 1970’s and 1980’s. She is survived by two daughters: Barbara (Michael) Polizzi of West Falls, NY, and Sharon (Charles) Fleming of LaFayette, IN and her grandchildren Curtis (Alisha), Brent (Kristy) Fleming and Michael J. (Fiancee Teresa) Polizzi also three great grandchildren. Family and friends may call on MONDAY from 10:30 to 12 Noon at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville, NY. Funeral services will be held Immediately following at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
