tO THE FAMILY OF ROBERT Dutton: my name is andy flury, sorry I,m late , but we just recived the notice. my family and your father/ grandfather, have a place in history together. My mom was a child born and raised in france. For over four long years she and her 8 other brothers and sisters were under the germen occupation. She said after the invasion they got nasty. Ya see if was not for guys like your father/grandfather and many others who heeded the call to arms under very difficult times I would not be here today. she remembers the day when american tanks and a hole lot more troops came through her town freeing them from the Germens. In part and a willingness to sacrifice his life my mother survived ww11. In other words me and my whole family would have never been born in to this world. We owe him and the many other ww11 vets our very lives that came about. From the 17 members of the Flury family, thank you.

Best memories were at Christmas time when Robert and the family (Nancy, Diane, Paige, Mark, ) all came to our house to Celebrate. Robert was such a nice person and was always a pleasure to be around. May he Rest In Peace

Bob was an amazing man. I had the honor of working with him while he lived at the Veterans Domiciliary in Florida. The highlight of my day was looking for Bob to talk and listen to some of his stories. I will sorely miss his smile and his great sense of humor. One of our nations true heroes. Thank you Ed. This is Bob’s eldest daughter Sherry from Louisiana. Thank you for your kind words. I’m happy to hear Dad had good friends. Wish he could have made it a little longer. All the vaccines were distributed today Historic! At 96 it was a premature death! God bless you.

Our family has been privileged to serve our friends in Niagara County since 1921 when my grandfather, Dayton E. Hardison, established our firm in Ransomville.
