Obituary of Sherry A. Castagner

Sherry A. Castagner, age 60 of the Town of Wheatfield, died Wednesday July 22, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, after a long illness. Sherry was born March 15, 1960 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late David Maslen and Joyce (Pletcher) Gordon and was a 1978 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School. She was a long time Home Health Care Aide, Medical Technician, and a CNA at various nursing homes in Florida. She most recently was employed as a kitchen worker by Macri's in Lewiston. Sherry was very artistic, loved to draw and garden. She is survived by two children, Joey(Jennifer) and Nicole Castagner; three sisters, her twin Gerry Pardee, Trish (the late John) Robins, and Deanna "Dee Dee" (Michael) Barone; her stepmother, Sandra Maslen; six grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Ricky and Michael Maslen and Kenneth Mort. A Celebration of her life will be held at a time and date to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
