Brad & family,
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. I was lucky enough to meet Jan through Linda S. Jan was so talented, lovely voice & her jewelry designs were gorgeous. Tried to post earlier, but as I did not receive email confirmation, suspect it did not go through. You & your family have been in our prayers.
In sympathy,
Kathy & Brian Harold

I'm very sorry to hear this news. Jan and I became friends when we both sang in the Artpark Opera Chorus, though we lost touch over the years. She was sensitive and kind, and full of fun - and what a beautiful voice she had!

Jan and I became friends in kindergarten, at Ransomville Elementary: sharing graham crackers and milk and enjoying each other's company over our next six years there. We loved choir with Mrs. Courter, our musical "Roundup on the Moon" in Gr. 5, and County Chorus in Gr. 6. While we continued with choir throughout high school (and in county and all-state choirs), Jan was always the local star with her rich, mature, gorgeous alto...... We had many happy times with our WCS friends: sleepovers, passing notes in class, endless giggling, gossiping at lunch, and riding our bikes. After graduation, we stayed in touch with intermittent visits throughout the years, in Ransomville; San Francisco; and San Carlos, CA. She was a gem. I will deeply miss her.
