Obituary of John E. Cassick

John E. Cassick, age 74, of the Town of Lewiston entered into rest of natural causes on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at home. John was born July 9, 1945 in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Leonard W. and the late Zada T. (Fry) Cassick. He was employed by Occidental Chemical Co. and Durez Corp in Niagara Falls as a laborer and in the shipping Dept. John was a member of the Lewiston Vol. Fire Co. #1 spending many years as a Fire Policeman. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge # 584 in Lewiston. John was an avid fisherman, hunter, and people watcher. John is survived by his siblings, Elizabeth Jannes of OH; Hariette Cassick of Newfane, NY; Annette Kreamer of Niagara Falls, NY; also two sister in laws Patricia Cassick and Edith Cassick; also nephews Clinton Cassick and Jim Spencer; nieces Christina Misenen, Mercedes Pendola, Renee Cotee and several other nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his brothers Jacob and Leonard Cassick and a sister Virginia Lee Cassick. Family and friends may call on Friday, June 19 from 6-8 at HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC., N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston, NY. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 20 at North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Cambria, NY.
