Dawn A. Williams, age 79, of Youngstown and wife of 54 years to the late Burton R. Williams died on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Dawn was born on June 12, 1940 in Lewiston, NY. She is the daughter of the late Carl and the late Alma (Chittenden) Johnson. Dawn graduated from Lew-Port in 1958. She married Burton R. Williams on September 2, 1961 he predeceased her on April 16, 2016. Dawn was a homemaker most of her life, she attended Niagara Hair Styling and Beauty School and did hair dressing from her home in the 1980's. She is survived by two daughters; Patricia (Greg) Hoszko of Fonthill, Ontario and Sheryl (M.Scott) Barmasse of Houston, TX, and one son; Burton R. " Rob" (Jennifer) Williams Jr. of Madison, CT; her sister Diane Price of CT and her grandchildren, Madison, Matthew, Hagen, Marcus, Cassandra and Carter. Dawn is predeceased by her siblings Carlene Toner, Alan Johnson and Gary Johnson. Private services will be held with Dawn’s family only due to current circumstances. Burial will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston, NY. Memorials may be made to the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co., PO Box 387, Youngstown, NY 14174.
