F. Shirley Winters, age 83, of Lewiston, NY formerly of Hamilton, Ontario and wife of Gary W. Winters entered into rest on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Shirley was born on August 13, 1936 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, she is the daughter of the late William Thomas and the late Evelyn (Wetheralt) Purdy. Shirley married Gary W. Winters on March 27, 1976. She was a Business Teacher at Hamilton Regional School District and retired after 28 years. Shirley was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Niagara Falls. Shirley is survived by her husband; Gary; their children David (Jessica) WInters of Watertown, NY, and Julie (Shane) Hockenberry of Lewiston, NY. Also surviving is her sister Patricia Ferrell and her brother Andy Purdy and her grandchildren, Jaxson, Hunter, Cole, and Gray. Shirley is predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Private graveside services will be held with her family. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery Town of Cambria, NY. Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church 140 Rainbow Blvd. Niagara Falls, NY 14303. Arrangements entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC.
