Calvin R. Donop, age 84, of Youngstown and husband of Susan (Steinbrunn) Donop died Friday, May 1, 2020 at his home in Youngstown. Calvin was born June 24, 1935 in Niagara Falls, NY, he is the son of the late Calvin F. and the late Elsa (Rader) Donop. Calvin served in the Navy from 1955 to 1959 and married Susan Steinbrunn on June 27, 1970. He was employed by the Niagara Falls Board of Education as Electrician for 30 plus years. Calvin was family man enjoying spending lots of time with them.
Surviving is his wife Susan; their children Christine M. (Dan) DuMoulin of Ransomville, NY, Susan C. Donop of Youngstown, NY, and Mark Donop of Tuscaloosa, AL , also his grandchildren Odin R. Donop and Dylan DuMoulin.
Funeral services were held privately with Calvin’s family. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery Town of Cambria, NY. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 or St. John Lutheran Church, 420 Lockport St., Youngstown, NY 14174.
