Obituary of Elberta M. Wills

Elberta M. “Elby” Wills, age 88, of Ransomville and wife of the late C. Kenneth Wills died on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the family farm in Ransomville. Elberta was born on January 1, 1932 in Ransomville, NY, she is the daughter of the late Herbert and the late Agnes (Bills) Lederhouse. She married C. Kenneth Wills on August 4th, 1956 he predeceased her on June 14th, 1984. Elby worked on the family dairy farm, Wills Dairy Farm in Ransomville her entire life. She enjoyed going to and watching her family race at Ransomville Speedway on Friday nights. She was a member of the Fillmore Chapel United Methodist Church and of its Ladies Aide. Surviving are her children; Charles "Chuck" Wills Jr., Kevin (Stephanie) Wills, Ellen (Thomas) Hibbard, Joan (Butch) Zimmerman and Lisa (Norman) Wills-Quarantillo, her sister; Herberta (Late Richard) Skellen; also 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is predeceased by her siblings Clarabell (Late John) Senek, Fred (Late Hazel) Lederhouse and Laurence “Ted” (Late Ann) Lederhouse. Funeral services will be held privately with her family. Elby will be laid to rest next to her husband Kenneth in North Ridge Cemetery Town of Cambria, NY. Memorials may be made to Fillmore Chapel United Methodist Church PO Box 110 Ransomville, NY 14131.
