Obituary of Randall T. Zahno

Randall T. “Randy” Zahno, age 80, of Ransomville husband of the late Janice Nye Zahno died Thursday, February 6, 2020 at his home in Ransomville. He was on born August 6, 1939 in Lockport, NY. He is the son of the late Thomas and the late Garnet Demmin Zahno. Randy married Janice A. Nye on August 1, 1964 she predeceased him on January 28, 2003. Randy was employed by NYS Parks and Recreation retiring after 30 years. Randy had a passion for John Deere tractors, he loved growing and selling produce at his roadside stand where he served the community for many years, he also enjoyed going to the Amish auctions and auctions in general. Randy is survived by two daughters; Camille Zahno of Odenton, MD and Tricia (Sean) Dzierzanowski of Ransomville; a sister Gayle (Late Fred) Butz, his grandchildren, Amber Racette, Kendall Dzierzanowski and Tyler McEvoy also surviving is a great grandchild, Landon Racette. NO PRIOR VISITATION. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 12 at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY with Rev. Ann Cole officiating.
