Obituary of Bernice L. Snyder
Bernice L. Snyder, age 93 formerly of Niagara Falls and wife of the late Frederick Snyder entered into rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Newfane Rehabilitation & Health Care Center Newfane, NY. Bernice was born on December 19, 1925 in Mayport, PA. She is the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Leona Coleman Bish. Bernice married Frederick Snyder on July 30, 1948. She was employed by Carborundum Co. Niagara Falls, NY as a laborer retiring after 30 plus years. Bernice was a member of the Ransomville Free Methodist Church for many years, she enjoyed being with her family, bowling, cooking, baking and canning and had a great love for her pet toy poodle Cody.
She is survived by her children Ronald (Jacqueline) Snyder and Debra Prater; her grandchildren Brandon (Laura) Snyder; Patricia (Richard) Ray Jr. and Nita Snyder; great grandchildren, Abigale, Emma and Jackson; her Siblings, Dolores Gahagen, John (Nancy) Bish, Tim (Peggy) Bish and Joyce (Jack) Shankle.
Bernice is predeceased by her husband Frederick and her Siblings Darryl, Clarence, Myron, Betty, Bonnie and Gerald.
NO PRIOR VISITATION. Private burial will be held with her family in Acacia Park Cemetery.
