Obituary of Robert K. Julias
Robert K. “Keith” Julias, age 71, of Niagara Falls formerly of Ransomville and husband of the late Sheryl A. Tobey Julias entered into rest unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Keith was born August 1, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Albert and the late Carol (Maloney) Julias.
Keith served in the U.S Marine Corps. From 1967 to 1971, serving in Vietnam. He was the recipient of the Vietnam Service Medal with 1 silver and 2 bronze stars, a Presidential Unit Citation, the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon with 1 bronze star, a Combat Action Ribbon and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign and Meritorious Medal and Citation. He was discharged in 1971 at the rank of Sgt.
Keith attended local schools including a trade school for carpentry and truck driving school, he married the late Sheryl Tobey on April 8th, 1985. Keith was employed for 15 years with Conrail and CSX as a conductor and engineer retiring in 2005. He was a loving father and grandfather, he loved traveling to Disney with his wife and fishing trips with his brothers, Keith also enjoyed watching wrestling religiously, spending time with grandchildren and he was known for his great sense of humor and making folks laugh. Keith was an avid carpenter and woodworker and was a member of the VFW Post 917.
Keith is survived by his children Suzanne (Jeff) Eddings, Jennifer Pettitt and Randy Julias; his siblings Linda (Larry) Davidson, Kay Julias, George (Patricia) Julias, Winston Julias and John (Donna) Julias; his grandchildren Mariah Casilio, Anthony Pettitt, C.J Eddings, Lena Eddings, Tyler Eddings and Athena Julias also several great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife Sheryl A. Julias, a son Edward J. Julias and brothers Phillip and Randy Julias.
Family and friends may call on SATURDAY OCTOBER 12, 2019 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY 14131. Funeral services with military honors will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Brad Delp officiating. Burial will be private with his family.
