Obituary of Nazzareno P. Gentile

Nazzareno Panfilo. “Nazz” Gentile, age 86, of Lewiston husband of Rosemary Elia Gentile entered into rest on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital of Lewiston, NY. Nazzareno was born April 15, 1933 in Prezza L'Aquuila Italy . He is the son of the late Sabatino and the late Maria Spacone Gentile.  He married Rosemary Elia on October 17, 1964 at St. Josephs RC Church in Niagara Falls. 

Nazz retired in 1995 from NYS Parks and Recreation where he was a Painter. 

The family would like to send a special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and aides who helped care for Nazz, the family appreciates all the compassion and professionalism shown to our precious husband, father and grandfather.

Nazz is survived by his wife Rosemary; his daughter Maria (Charles) Feay; a son Michael (Roberta) Gentile; his sisters Nunziata (Late Antonio) Forcucci and Elena (late Salvatore) Gentile; three brothers Mario (late Rina) Gentile, John (Ruth) Gentile and Ezio Gentile; a granddaughter  Caitlyn Feay; a brother in law, Joseph Elia and several nieces nephews and cousins.

NO PRIOR VISITATION. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, NY (Please assemble at church) with Rev. Thomas Mahoney officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph's RC Cemetery, Niagara Falls. Arrangements entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC.
