Obituary of Joseph I. Meyers Jr.

Joseph I. Meyers, Jr. 27 of Lewiston entered into rest unexpectedly on Monday, July 29, 2019, at home in Lewiston. Joe was born July 10, 1992, in Niagara Falls, NY, he is the son of Jennifer Stahlman and Joseph I. Meyers Sr. Joe graduated from Lew-Port High School in 2010 and went on to attend NCCC.

He was employed by United Iron Workers International/ LOCAL 9 as an Iron Worker and also, worked for Ken Young Paving. Joe loved to play football and swim for the Lew-Port Lancers. Joe enjoyed camping, outings with friends and his beloved pets. He was a very hard-working young man and loved spending time with his friends and family. If you were a friend of Joe’s he was fiercely loyal, loved you with his whole heart, greeted you with his huge beautiful smile and considered you part of our family.

Surviving are his parents Jennifer Stahlman and Joseph I. Meyers Sr; his brothers Dominic Biesuz (Gabby Morford); Kristofer Meyers; his grandmother Bernadine Stahlman; his stepfather Larry Biesuz Jr.; step-siblings Sam and Maxx Biesuz as well as grandparents  Becky and Mike Wagner; Judy and Larry Biesuz Sr.; and his beloved  aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Gary Stahlman and paternal grandparents Joseph and Kathryn Meyers

A memorial service will be held on SATURDAY, August 3, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St., Lewiston, NY with Rev. Elizabeth Morgan officiating. There will be a reception following the service at the church.
