Obituary of John T. Skalla

John T. Skalla 61, of Niagara Falls entered into rest suddenly at home. Born on February 12, 1958 in Niagara Falls to the late Joseph and the late Marcella Kowalski Skalla. John graduated from Niagara Falls High school class of 1976, he then went on to attend U.B and diesel mechanic school. He was employed as a diesel mechanic working at Productive Transport, NOCO and Falls Autospring. John was an avid golfer; he was a soft spoken man of few words but a man with a heart as big as he was!

Surviving are his siblings Carol Skalla of Missouri and Paul (Debbie) Skalla of Niagara Falls. Also surviving is a niece Deidre Skalla (Mike Rynerson) and his nephews Nicholas and Joseph Boos and Jeremy Skalla; and great niece Madison and great nephew Cameron. John is predeceased by a sister Joanne Skalla.

Family and friends may call on FRIDAY from 4-7 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. N. Fourth and Ridge Streets Lewiston, NY 14092. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on SATURDAY (6/22) at 11:00 AM. with Rev. Ivan Skenderovic officiating. Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.
