Obituary of Amber R. Maranto

Amber R. Maranto, age 55 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on May 20, 2019 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with several illnesses. She was born in Niagara Falls on January 9, 1964 to the late Richard and the late Judy Rohde Ault. Amber graduated from LaSalle Sr. High School in 1982. She married Paul M. Abel, they had over 15 years together before his passing in 1999.

On July 28, 2001 she married Mark Maranto and she became an instant mom to his daughter, Meghan Maranto. They had a daughter Camille Rose “Cammi” Maranto. Amber’s first passion was to love her family and she did that unconditionally. She worked in banking for many years, and as an administrative assistant for Niagara County. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She had the most beautiful smile and lived life with a cup half full attitude.

Amber is survived by her husband, Mark Maranto; her daughters Meghan and Camille Maranto; her brother Brian (Stephanie) Rohde; her sister Candice (Jeffrey) Begley; her stepfather Norman Ault; her maternal aunt Donna (Calvin) Hockenberry and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may call on THURSDAY from 4-8 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. N. Fourth and Ridge Sts. Lewiston, NY. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on FRIDAY (MAY 24) at 11:00 AM.
