Obituary of Daniel Nelson Tower

 Daniel Nelson Tower, Our beloved husband, father & ‘Granpa Dan’ passed away peacefully at home on May 9, 2019. Dan is survived by his wife and soul-mate Iris (McGranor) Tower, his much loved children, Tawnya (Richard) Radice, Amanda Tower, Christel (Jay) Van Allen, Theresa (Kenneth) Winkelsas, Christopher Tower and Kenneth P Tower. Dan will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Sophia, Cade, Chase, Lucas, Gage, & Hazel, all farm lovers because of their ‘Granpa’ Dan!  Dan is predeceased by his parents Nelson H. Tower and Sarah (Schulze) Tower and his brother Peter S. (Charmagne) Tower and survived by his loving sisters Ann (Butch) Johnston and Kathy (James) Fenn. Dan’s absence is keenly felt by nephew, friend and Farm Foreman Tom (Rena) Scharlau and longtime friend Peter (Tammy) Pesareesi. A memorial service to celebrate the life led by this salt of the earth man will be held Sunday, May 19th @ 2 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 100 Church Street, Youngstown, NY.
