Obituary of Norman L. Jones Sr.

Norman L. Jones Sr. 82 of Youngstown, NY husband of the late Roberta “Robbie” Walsh Jones died Friday April 5, 2019 in the Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY.

Born in Scranton, PA on November 17, 1936 but grew up in Syracuse, NY he was the son of the late Henry C. and the late Eleanor Azadian Jones. He served in the United State Navy. Norman married Roberta Walsh on February 19, 1958. Norm was a master electrician employed by OHMTECK in Niagara Falls for 40 years retiring in 1999. He was a member of St. Bernard’s RC Church in Youngstown and also attended church at Stella Niagara.

Norm was a HAM Radio operator call sign "WB2DWX", he is an exempt member of the Youngstown Vol. Fire Co. and enjoyed repairing tv's and building clocks. He was known to be an inventor as a child.

Surviving are his children Debbi Monahan (Tom Schulze), Donna Jones (Tommy Edwards) and Norman L. Jones Jr. (Debbie Leone); his sister Wendy Moleski also 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on SATURDAY (April 13) from 2 - 4 pm at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Road Ransomville, NY.

Interment will be  in St. Bernard's RC Cemetery at a later date.
