Obituary of Richard W. Wilkinson

Richard W. Wilkinson 79, of Ransomville NY husband of Mary Skene Wilkinson entered into rest on February 15, 2019 in Ocala, FL.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 04, 1939 he was the son of the late William and the late Dorothy Schacht Wilkinson. He graduated from Lewiston-Porter in 1958.  Mr. Wilkinson married Mary R. Skene on June 11, 1960.  He served in the U.S Army Reserve and New York Army National Guard for a combined 40 years of service.

Richard was a truck driver employed by Ashland Oil Co. and Relco Trucking. He was an active exempt member of the Lewiston #1 Fire Co. and loved watching and attending auto racing at Ransomville, Volusia and Daytona Speedway’s.

Surviving is his wife; Mary; his children Jeffrey (Shelly) Wilkinson and Pamela (Tim) Phillips; his sisters Marilyn (late Harold) Rinehart and Linda Mattison, Dale Mattison; four grandchildren Erin and Kayla Wilkinson also Emily and Kyle Phillips. Richard is predeceased by a son Richard Wilkinson Jr.

Family and friends may call TUESDAY (APRIL 2) from 4:00-7:30 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. A prayer service will immediately follow at 7:30 PM.

Interment will be at a later date in Riverdale Cemetery
