Obituary of Hazel E. Plunkett

Hazel E. Plunkett 83, of Ransomville, NY formerly of Salamanca and North Tonawanda, wife of the late James R. Plunkett died Tuesday February 26, 2019 at home in Ransomville, NY.

Born in Salamanca, NY on September 22, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Lorance and the late Gertrude Maloney Kruse. She married James R. Plunkett in September of 1953. Hazel enjoyed crafting, flower gardening and bird watching.

 

Surviving is her son Thomas (Anita) Plunkett; her sisters Edith (Late Robert) Foreman and Esther (Late Duane) Stone; a daughter in law, Cheryl Plunkett; 2 grandchildren Brian Plunkett and Aryn (Robert) Maynard; 4 great grandchildren, Brianna and Brady Plunkett also Ethan and Alyssa Maynard. Hazel is predeceased by a son Timothy Plunkett and a granddaughter Melissa Plunkett.

 

NO PRIOR VISITATION. A memorial service will be held on MONDAY (March 4) at 11:00 AM  in the North Ridge United Methodist Church 3930 N. Ridge Rd (Rt 93) Lockport, NY 14094 (Town of Cambria) with Rev. Matthew Worley officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 101 JohnJames Audobon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228. Arrangements entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC.
