Kenneth W. Wieland, 85, of Youngstown passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at home, surrounded by his loved ones.
Ken was born on May 29, 1933 to the late Herbert N. and Luella F. (Kumpf) Wieland. He was a lifelong Youngstown resident, graduating from Youngstown High School in 1951. He proudly served in the U. During the 1970’s Ken served as Trustee for the Village of Youngstown. Ken was the consummate jack-of-all-trades and will be remembered for his generous, kind spirit, his dry humor and big laugh, and his great love for his family.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 60 years, Mary, his daughters Wendy (David) Wieland-Alter and Karen (Andrew) Cline, his son Eric (Wendy Shaw), his grandchildren Lauren and Erich (Kylie) Schmidt, Amanda (Jonah) Jueckstock, Kristine Ripson, and Kendra and Eric Wieland, and his two great-granddaughters Mila and Amara Schmidt.
