Obituary of Joyce Marie Stacey

Joyce Marie Colliver Stacey, 92 lifelong resident of Ransomville and wife of the late William J. Stacey entered into rest on Friday December 07, 2018 in Elderwood of Wheatfield. Mrs. Stacey was born in the Town of Porter, NY on October 20, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Morton and the late Ida Myers Colliver. Joyce graduated from Wilson Central School in 1944. She married William Stacey on January 22, 1949. Joyce was a Clerk for the Niagara County Department of Social Services for 20 years retiring in 1993. Mrs. Stacey was a lifetime member of the O. Leo Curtiss American Legion Post 830 Ladies Auxiliary and was a charter member of the friends of the Ransomville Free Library.

 

Joyce is survived by her daughters Elena (David) Tussing and Melanie (Mark) Cooley; 1 grandchild Ashley Cooley and her sister in-law Betty Colliver and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Calvin Colliver and Ray (Late Connie) Colliver.

 

NO PRIOR VISITATION. Private burial will be in Oakland Rural Cemetery.
