Obituary of Patricia F. Weintraub
Patricia F. Weintraub, age 91 formerly of Youngstown, died Saturday September 15, 2018 in the Bethany Manor Skilled Nursing Facility in Horseheads, NY.
Patricia was born July 31, 1927 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late George Sr. and Antoinette (Miller) Frey. She attended local schools and received an Associate Degree in Theatre from Harcum Junior College in Bryn Mawr, PA. On August 23, 1948 Patricia married Norman Weintraub and they lived in Youngstown for many years where they operated Mourning Dove Farm. She raised and bred Equestrian Horses and Ragdoll Cats. Norman predeceased her in February of 1993.
Patricia was a very active member of St. Peter RC Church in Lewiston and St. Bernard RC Church in Youngstown.
She is survived by five sons, Norman (Nuria) Weintraub, Jr, Timothy, Steven (Julie), Donald, and Gary (Ann) Weintraub; three daughters, Cynthia Brennan, Mary Loughlin, and Patricia Weintraub; fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, George Jr., and Donald Frey.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Thursday from 4 - 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 21, at 11:00 AM in St. Peter RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating. Burial will follow in the Acacia Park Cemetery, North Tonawanda. Memorials may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Rd., Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
