Obituary of William M. Stanley

William M. Stanley, 67, of Lewiston passed away at home on July 7, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was under the care of Dr Wallens, who Bill thought very highly of.

He was born January 13, 1951 and was the oldest child of the late William J. and Lavina (Lee) Stanley.He was a graduate of Lewiston Porter, and of Niagara University where he achieved a degree in Liberal Arts. He was a long-time employee of DuPont in Tonawanda which he retired from in 2014.Bill was an avid and skilled chess player. He also enjoyed learning and reading about holistic medicine and spirituality.He is survived by two sisters: Susan (Pete) Jenosheck & Deborah (Bill Schmullen) Kysor,  and one brother Patrick Stanley. Additionally, his nieces and nephews: William S. (Janice) Jenosheck, and their son Julian, Jennifer (Jesse) Calato, and their children, Alexzander and Samantha, Brian Kysor (Diana Strenka), and Lisa (Timothy) Dufresne, and their children, Britney, Brianne, and Timothy. Bill was also survived by many cousins and friends.

Family and friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME N. Fourth and Ridge Sts. Lewiston on MONDAY from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held TUESDAY at 12:00 PM in the funeral home burial to follow in Gate of Heaven.
