Obituary of Jeanne M. Blinco

Jeanne M. Blinco, age 86 of Lewiston NY, died Friday June 15, 2018 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness.

Jeanne was born July 31, 1931 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Wanda (Pieta) Novak. She was a 1948 graduate of Niagara Falls High School and had attended Purdue University. She married Stewart P. Blinco on February 20, 1954 and they have resided in Lewiston since 1960. Jeanne served as Secretary to the Superintendent of the Lewiston Porter School District for 15 years.

She was a communicant of St. Peter RC Church in Lewiston. Jeanne also was very active in the Lewiston Garden Club and the Lewiston Historical Society and Museum. She was a member of Friday Bridge Club and she enjoyed shopping.

In addition to her husband, Stewart, she is survived by three sons, Edward (Kathleen McMillen) Blinco of Charleston, SC, Thomas (Lynne Shannon) Blinco of Canton, OH, and James Blinco of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Lee) Campbell, Todd (Christine O'Connor) Blinco, Katherine (Ryan) Jaworski, and Andrew Blinco; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Edith (late James) Mashinter of New Jersey,

Friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Thursday from 4 - 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 22, at 1:00 PM in St. Peter RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating.(please assemble at Church). Burial will be private in Acacia Park Cemetery.
