My deepest sympathy for your loss. Maureen was a fun loving individual that many people loved. I always enjoyed being with her and treasured our times together in The Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Divine Child. Know she is now forever at peace and held in the arms of her beloved.

When I first met Maureen in the convent we connected so much so that one of her brothers visited my Uncles in Dublin, Ireland one summer. Maureen was always a fun loving spirit with a big heart and a cheerful giver. Nothing was too big for Maureen She was always good to me. Since I came from Philly Maureen would invite me to come to her home and visit with her family. Now Maureen is visiting with her Creator. It is our Lost and Heaven's Gain. Please be assured of my prayers and thoughts to you and your family as all of you journey through the grief process.

Marilyn, Margy, Tim and Maureen's Family...do hope it helps to know that many are holding you in their hearts and prayers. I remember Maureen with fondness when our mothers were our Brownie leaders, growing up in Lewiston in the 50's...her unique laugh and wonderful sense of humor were her hallmark for sure. Our parents were clearly such a strong part of the very fabric of a young Lewiston and my Dad always spoke of Matt Toohey with great fondness when they served on the village board. A good Irish sole silenced far too soon. Love, Patty and Rick

As a sales rep. I would see Maureen twice a year. I always looked forward to her new stories and her robust laugh. The thing that drew me to Maureen was her open love and commitment to her family. She will be missed but remembered.

Please accept our deepest sympathy to the Toohey family. We had the pleasure of working with Moe at Smokin Joe's for a number of years. She made work fun with her unending sense of humor and her way with people. She certainly was a SPECIAL person in our eyes and we loved her. She has a new job now, she can make Jesus smile.
