Obituary of David B. Lambert
David B. Lambert 73, of Youngstown, NY died Saturday February 24, 2018 in the Niagara Hospice House Lockport after a courageous battle with ALS. Born in Lockport on October 17, 1944 to the late Paul F. and Reta H. (Mudd) Lambert. David graduated from Lockport High School and worked at Harrison Radiator from age 18 (on the line) working his way up to management positions in product service and sales. Before he retired in 1999, he was the lead auditor for the QS 9000 Quality Control Program. In the late 1960’s he served in the Army National Guard.
David loved cars, especially his antique 1930 model A and his BMW’s. He enjoyed social time meetings at McDonald’s and Burger King with friends and also the 3rd Thursday retirees group from Delphi. Most recently he enjoyed watching 3-D movies and sitting by the river at Niawanda Park. On July 29, 1995 he married Linda (Wood) Heagerty Lambert and has resided in Youngstown since then. In addition to his wife; he is survived by his children; Annie Lambert; Katie Heagerty(Tim) Lashway; Meghan Heagerty (Robert) Harmon and Robert Sean (Kristen Bowes) Heagerty. His grandchildren; Diamond Lambert; Ethan Lashway; Mason Lashway; Lia Harmon; Livia Harmon; Robert Harman; Rylie Harmon and Ronan Heagerty; a sister, Patricia (Michael) Stewart and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers; Ronald and Gary Lambert and a sister, Joanne Lambert Fauth.
Friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME N. Fourth and Ridge Sts. Lewiston on TUESDAY from 4-8 PM. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday (February, 28) at 11:30 AM. From St. Peter’s R.C Church 600 Center St. Lewiston with Msgr. David LiPuma officiating. ( Please assemble at the church) Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital Maturity Dept. or the ALS Association (alsa.org).
