Obituary of Jean M. Baird
Please share a memory of Jean to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jean M. Baird passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Jean was born October 3, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan, to Frank and Mildred Bird. On October 8, 1949 she married John S. Baird.
The couple and their three sons moved to Lewiston in 1968. In Lewiston, Jean was a 47-year member of the First Presbyterian Church, participating in the Women's Association and the Circle groups. She also enjoyed socializing at the Lewiston Senior Center.
Surviving are sons, David, Alan (Karen) and Robert (Maria). Jean is also survived by several nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law; and many dear friends.
The family wishes to thank Our Lady of Peace for the compassionate care our mother received over the past four years. Special thanks to the 2-East unit nurses, CNAs, and activity leaders, and, of course, Dr. Robert L. Bull. She loved you all.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.
