Helen M. Miller, age 77 of the Town of Niagara, formerly of Ransomville, died Monday April 26, 2010 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness. Helen was born April 14, 1933 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Lucy Baker Mengee and was a 1951 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On July 12, 1952 she married William L. Miller who predeceased her on September 19, 1988. Helen was a member of the St. James United Methodist Church in Niagara Falls, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Red Hatters. She enjoyed outings with her family and friends and attending garage sales. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (John) Spryszak of Falls Creek, PA, Judith Davis (Wayne Cavalier) of Pensacola, FL, and Karen Miller (Von Gammon) of Gulf Shores, AL; and her grandchildren, Anthony and Dana Zuccolotto, Jennifer and Stephanie Davis; and her loving companion, Ronald Yates of the Town of Niagara;. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Wednesday from 2 - 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 29, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria. Memorials may be to the Lewiston Volunteer Fire Co. #2, 1705 Saunders Settlement Rd., Niagara Falls, NY 14305.
