Rosalie M. Proietti

Rosalie M. Proietti, beloved aunt and cherished member of the Lewiston, NY community, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, under the care of her loving nieces, nephew and Niagara Hospice. Born on January 19, 1935, in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the devoted daughter of the late Alexandro and Marion (née Mule') Proietti.

A 1953 graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Rosalie dedicated her career to Marine Midland Bank in Lewiston and Ransomville, NY, retiring in 1994. Beyond her professional life, she was known for her vibrant spirit and active involvement in her community, often volunteering. Rosalie served as the Travel Guide for the Lewiston Seniors, loved bowling, was an enthusiastic casino visitor, and had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and camping. Above all, Rosalie treasured her moments spent with family.

Rosalie is preceded in death by her dear siblings, Andrew (late Janet), John Proietti, Emily (late LeRoy) Walker, and Anna (late William) Hartman, as well as her cherished nephew James Proietti. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, survived by her devoted nieces and nephews, Mariann (Thomas) Coleman, Cheryl (Dan) Diem, Tina (Rick) Plauman, Cindy (Robert) Bussingham, Andrea (David) Lelito, Natalie (Henry) Grunzwieg, Patrick (Dawn) Walker, and Lori Proietti. Rosalie is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Proietti and caring uncle, Sammy Mule', and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Carmen, Vicki, and Kelly for their exceptional care and compassion.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 401 Ridge Street, Lewiston, on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 4–8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center Street, Lewiston, at 10 AM. Please assemble at the church. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosalie's honor to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
