Richard D. Sutherland

Richard D. Sutherland, age 73, of Wilson entered into rest suddenly on Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at home. Richard was born on December 27th, 1950, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Donald and the late Kathleen (Broughton) Sutherland. Richard was a 1970 graduate of Lew-Port CSD.

He was employed by Lew-port CSD as a custodian retiring after 20 plus years. He enjoyed going to Ray’s Tavern, football, hockey, racing, baseball, and fishing.

Surviving are his daughters; Rachel Willms (Chad Horton) and Teresa Willms; his sisters, JoAnn (Rick) Bayne and Karen Sutherland; his grandchildren, Danica, Brystol, Sylas, and his former wife Beth Sutherland.

Per request he will be cremated, and no services will be held.
