Peter Matthew Shea

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Matthew Shea on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the age of 35.

Peter was born in Marietta, Ohio, on March 16, 1989, the beloved son of Mark R. and Victoria E. (née Karas) Shea. He attended Lewiston-Porter High School and had a great love for the outdoors, particularly enjoying walks along the scenic Niagara River.

Known to many as a "jack of all trades," Peter was a self-employed laborer, always ready to lend a hand and tackle any project. His passion for skateboarding and unwavering support for the Buffalo Bills were well-known among his family and friends.

Peter is survived by his loving parents, Mark and Vicki; his dear siblings Erin Shea, Michael (Ashlee) Shea, and Katherine Hoover; his adored nieces and nephews, Deklan, Mark, Clara, Liam, Henley, Josephine, and Maeve. He will also be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of great friends.

Peter's vibrant spirit, kindness, and enthusiasm for life will always be remembered. He leaves behind a legacy of love and countless cherished memories.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 6-7 PM at Hardison Funeral Homes, Inc., 401 Ridge Street, Lewiston (N. Fourth and Ridge Streets), where Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM. Friends are invited to join in honoring Peter's memory.
