Nadine Lucas

Nadine “Deanie” Lucas (Amey) passed away peacefully on June 1st, 2021. Born on November 17th, 1938, to the late Hanley and Julia Amey, Nadine graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1956. Shortly after, she met her beloved husband, Richard and they were married on June 20th, 1962. Richard passed away on October 24th, 2016. Nadine’s flair for fashion led to the opening of her business, “Main Street”, which she operated for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing golf, cooking, and gardening. In addition to her husband, Nadine was pre-deceased by her children Terrill Richard and Melinda Anne, her sister Mary Jane Ripson, brother Steven Amey, brother-in-law Terrill Lucas, and sisters-in-law Joyce Penders and Nancy Shippy. Nadine will be greatly missed by her daughters Lisa Lucas (Bob Kowalski), and Mollie Lucas, her grandsons Jordan Kowalski and Shane Kowalski, her sister Christine Amey, her sisters-in-law Judy Zimmerman, Rebecca Majka, Susan Lucas, and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on Sunday June 6th from 2-6pm at Hardison Funeral Home, 401 Ridge Street ( N. Fourth and Ridge Sts, Lewiston NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday June 7th at 10:00am at St. Bernard’s R.C Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown NY.
